ACT Project
ACT – Aprender com Todos is an intervention and socio-educational research project promoted by the Faculty of Education and Psychology and by the Transversal Area of Social Economy of the Catholic University of Porto in the territory of Lordelo do Ouro (Porto) and, in particular, in the Agrupamento Leonardo Coimbra Filho, Porto.
Ondamarela is developing the ACT Orchestra since the academic year 2019/2020.

ACT – Learning With All
Over the last two years we have worked at the Dr. Leonardo Coimbra School Group, in Porto, as an integral part of the ACT project with the Portuguese Catholic University. It was hard work but very rewarding, for the process, for the results, for the kids, for the team, for the joint effort.
Thank you to everyone who shared this time, this effort, these ideas and reflections with us.

ACT Orchestra’s concert!
Study Here!, is a photography exhibition that can be visited until the 4th of July at Soares dos Reis National Museum, with images by Paulo Pimenta and young students from EB23 Dr. Leonardo Coimbra, in Porto. At its inauguration, the ACT Orchestra also performs live, in a small demonstration of the results of 2 years of work. We are so proud to play such a beautiful event!

The Orchestra continues to come together every week, online, to create new and original things.
This video was created from the recordings of our last rehearsal at school and a series of challenges launched online to students from the 5th to the 9th grade.

The Best Thing!
The ACT Orchestra comes together weekly to create and rehearse original and representative music from this very special group.
Today, it launches its first video clip that illustrates the song “A Melhor Coisa”, composed collectively by students from the 5th to the 9th of this school.
It also counted on the precious participation of the students of the 1st cycle who made drawings based on the idea of “best thing” vs “worst thing”.

ACT Project – Starting to move
After the multiple advances and setbacks of the past academic year, the ACT Orchestra now begins to show the results of its weekly work. This week we played and paraded around the school, finished recording for our first video clip, filmed our Christmas postcard.
Soon we will publish everything!
