It’s a wrap! Adelaide Citizens Orchestra – Floods of Fire
Last Saturday, March 16th, our Citizens Orchestra performed, ending our participation in the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra’s Floods of Fire, at this year’s Adelaide Festival. A process that began more than a year ago, for the opening of the Adelaide Festival 2023, and which has touched thousands of different people, in dozens of workshops in very different spaces. We created a performance with completely new music, created from these workshops, and the culmination, at Maths Lawn, on Saturday, was a very beautiful moment for us.

Thank you all!
It’s tomorrow!
Tomorrow, the Citizens Orchestra debuts at the opening of the Adelaide Festival. It’s been a few days of incredible sharing and creativity and we already miss all the friends we’ve made here. A city where friendliness is the norm and people love to try new things, it is a city that ondamarela will never forget.
Thanks Adelaide!

We’re in Adelaide!
The work of creating the Citizens Orchestra began. As part of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra‘s Floods of Fire programme, conceived and coordinated by Airan Berg, we are preparing a first performance this month at the opening of the 2023 edition of the Adelaide Festival. So far, it’s been wonderful working with the musicians in the orchestra, the people who signed up via the open call, the volunteer fire service, the members of Quirkestra and all the amazing groups we’ve come across.
Thanks Australia!
