Ana Bragança
She is a cultural manager, specializing in participation, mediation and community involvement projects.
Consultant for the audience participation and mediation program for Braga’25 – Portuguese Capital of Culture.
She was a consultant for the consultation and mediation program of Braga’27, candidate city for European Capital of Culture, having been responsible for the entire “Outreach” chapter of the two application dossiers (1st phase and 2nd phase of the application).
She was a consultant at the company Opium, in projects such as the Dynamization Plan for the Douro Wine Villages, the Management Plan for the Historic Center of Porto World Heritage and the Candidacy of Guimarães for the European Capital of Culture in 2012.
At Guimarães 2012 European Capital of Culture, she was part of the executive board, where she coordinated the marketing and welcoming area. She was project manager at A Oficina, where she coordinated the incubator of creative industries at Plataforma das Artes e da Criatividade. She collaborated with the educational service of the Centro Internacional das Artes José de Guimarães and co-conceived and co-coordinated the West Way Lab Festival 2014. She was part of the team that developed the exhibition guide for Casa da Memória de Guimarães. She conceived and coordinated projects such as Fervença (Bragança), Bida Airada (23 Milhas, Ílhavo), Ode to Joy (Presidency of the European Council, Malta), Mewga Muzika (La Valletta 2018 European Capital of Culture), Dias do Património a Norte (Ministério da Cultura), Som.Sim.Zero and Tremor Festival Opening (S. Miguel, Azores), Eu Sou de Cá (Historical Villages of Portugal), Folia (Macedo de Cavaleiros, Vinhais and Miranda do Douro), Vida Real (Atos, Odisseia Nacional of Teatro Nacional D. Maria II), among other participatory or collaborative cultural programs, with the involvement of different artists and communities.
