Celebrating Villages - Famalicão
The Municipality of Famalicão invited ondamarela to do the Art Direction for the project “Aldeias em Festa”.
Through exploratory sessions with the various communities involved, a show was set up and it was presented on September 21, 2019.

Regarding the project that took place yesterday in Famalicão, the newspaper Público reflected on these works, their reasons and consequences.
It’s good to know that the press still focuses on topics that really make a difference to communities.

We were invited to do the artistic direction of the community project “Aldeias Em Festa”, from Famalicão Municipality. This here was the second exploratory session, in wich we met the participant communities and developed some of their ideas about the territory and its uniqueness.
It was very interesting and we had some interesting results.
The final performance will be on the 21st of September!
