Nós 19 - Community Orchestra
The community orchestra ‘NÓS 19’, directed by the english conductor Tim Steiner, brings together people with different musical experiences, amateurs or professionals, from each of the 19 municipalities of the Intermunicipal Community of the Region of Coimbra.
‘NÓS 19’ proposes to compose and rehearse music created specifically for the area of the Region of Coimbra, and the culmination of this work will be made known in a great final show on January 12, 2019, at 9.30 pm, at Convento São Francisco, in Coimbra. Admission is free.
The community orchestra ‘NÓS 19’ is one of the artistic proposals of the ‘Coimbra Region of Culture’ which, until April 2019, will cover 19 municipalities in the Region with a program that crosses the Fado and the Song of Coimbra with various arts, and flavors of the national culture, such as painting, poetry, cinema, gastronomy, dance, among others.

Nós 19 – loading…
We’re already preparing the performance “Nós 19” for Coimbra Região de Cultura, onstage on the 12th of January 2019, at Convento S. Francisco, in Coimbra.
Musical communities from 19 towns are already working with maestro Tim Steiner and his team, creating a big and unique performance that celebrates the region and its culture. For now, we sketch ideas, we battle with chants, we smile a lot!
