the rest is noise This is a project for music festivals, intending to create a performance space for all the musicians of the city hosting the festival. We propose to create a music concert with new material, devised with the participants during the festival (2 or 3 days) and performed on the last day. It invites amateur or professional musicians of any age or skill to come together and converge their ideas to generate a big scale performance. Artistic direction of the project by Tim Steiner. goals

to provide the participants with a different and stimulating musical experience, recapturing the basic ideas of music making as a medium for social ad civic action;

to develop a work of inclusion and incentive to cultural, artistic and civic participation with the music community of the city;

to create the opportunity for every musician of the city to perform on the biggest stage of the festival;

to encourage improvisation and creativity when it comes to composing, interpretation or collective performance;

to develop a musical identity felt by the participants as authentic and genuine;

to promote the relations between musicians of all ages, skills and backgrounds;

to present an unique and unrepeatable work of art on the final performance;
